What size Revol should I get?

What does proper crate sizing look like?
Dogs should be able to comfortably stand up, turn around, and lie down. There shouldn't be too much additional space.
How do I size my dog for a crate?
You will need to compare your dog's weight, height, and length with the crate size details. Be sure to read through the "Important factors to consider" section below to make the best choice for you and your pup. For tips on measuring your pup, check out to blog post below.
If your dog is a puppy, you will need to estimate their full grown size. To do this we recommend speaking with a dog professional such as your breeder or vet. Knowing the parents measurements can be helpful indicators. There are also helpful online tools to help estimate your dog's full grown size, but we can't guarantee the accuracy of these tools.
*Please note Doodle breeds can have a significant range in sizes and tend to be quite tall. Be sure you speak with your breeder to understand what size range (toy, mini, medium, standard, etc) and estimated measurements they're expected to fall under and what those measurements are.
Important factors to consider
- Each individual is unique and may be larger or smaller than the average size.
- Many online height measurements are to the withers (shoulders). It is important to have your pups measurements to the top of the head when sizing for a crate.
- Additional height is lost if adding a bed/pad. Check the dimensions of the bed you plan to use with the crate.
- If your pup is in between sizes, we recommend sizing up. Dogs tend to do better with too much space rather than too little.
- When the side door is in the open position, an inch or two of height will be lost.
- Revol & Evolv comes with a puppy divider so Revol/Evolv can grow with your pup
- Males tend to be larger than females for most breeds
